Reminder: Final Month to Purchase Coto’s Special 100-lesson Package
If you’re planning to study Japanese in the long term, you can get a great deal by taking our special package.
You can take our beginner’s course in Japanese or focus on more intermediate lessons — how and when you plan to use the package is entirely up to you.
Part-time or private lessons are available. They are valid for 12 months after the first lesson you take.
You can take Japanese lessons at one of our two school locations: our Tokyo language school and our Yokohama branch.

- Private:￥425,000 (￥4,250 / lesson)
- Part-time: ￥210,000 (￥2,100 / lesson)
※ Part-time lesson packages cannot be converted to private lessons
※ One time ¥10,000 registration fee for new students
※ We do not accept payment in installments

Lite Intensive Course Opening
Leveling up your Japanese part of your New Year’s resolution? Next year is the best time to start new. Achieve full-time progress on a part-time schedule. Learn Japanese grammar and improve your reading and speaking skills while maintaining a healthy balance between learning progress and study commitment.
Join our Lite Intensive Course and study Japanese twice a week. If you’re learning Japanese from ground one, then our upcoming Beginner 1 course is perfect for you.
With a good balance between learning progress and study commitment, the Beginner 1 Lite Intensive Course gives you an introduction to Japanese.

New Part-time Beginner Class
Our part-time Japanese lessons are designed for busy students who want to create a short-term or long-term customized study schedule. Students are able to sign up for a combination of classes that match their level and interest.

- Class name: Active Basic Japanese Grammar
- Level: Beginner (JLPT N5)
- Schedule: Saturday (2 lessons)
- Start date: December 18
- Textbook: Nihongo Fun & Easy 1 and Coto original files
This is the foundation you’ll need to be able to communicate in Japanese. You’ll be able to use basic conjugated forms and speak naturally.
Understanding of kana, basic verbs, verb sentences, adjective sentences is required to take this course.
What’s New at Coto Academy Yokohama
Winter Break for Coto Academy Yokohama
Our Yokohama school will be taking a break for Christmas and New Year, so be sure you don’t visit us when no one is around.
- Winter break: Sunday, December 26 – Monday, January 3
- Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 4 (classes until December 25 will be held normally).
Part-time and private Japanese lessons will resume on Tuesday, January 4. Intensive courses will resume on Monday, January 10.
