Who Is This Business Japanese Course For?

Taught by native Japanese instructors, this course is designed for international professionals on work visas, job seekers targeting employment in Japan, and learners preparing for BJT or JLPT N2 as part of their visa or career requirements. Whether you’re newly arrived or have been working in Japan for years, this course bridges the gap between conversational Japanese and the business-level proficiency employers and immigration authorities expect.

You’ll benefit if you:

  • Want to understand Japanese business culture
  • Want to improve formal Japanese for work
  • Are you preparing for interviews or job hunting
  • Need practical language for meetings and emails

Beginner-Intermediate Business Japanese Course

Level: JLPT N4-N3

This beginner-intermediate level course is ideal for learners who want to build confidence in formal workplace communication early on. Learn essential vocabulary, polite expressions, and keigo through practical scenarios like self-introductions, exchanging business cards, phone calls, and making requests, no prior business Japanese experience needed, just basic speaking ability and motivation to learn.

Business Japanese - Beginner
Business Japanese - Intermediate

Intermediate Business Japanese Course

Level: JLPT N3

This intermediate Japanese course is designed for learners who already have a solid foundation in Japanese and want to apply it confidently in real workplace situations. Rather than focusing on grammar drills, the course centers on practical business communication: making proposals, persuading stakeholders, and building strong professional relationships through language.

Upper Intermediate Business Japanese Course

Level: JLPT N3-N2

This course is for learners who are comfortable with everyday workplace Japanese and ready to handle more demanding situations, like leading a discussion, fielding questions from a client, or politely pushing back on a proposal. You’ll work on structuring opinions clearly, using cushioning language (クッション言葉) to soften disagreement, and adjusting your keigo on the fly depending on who you’re speaking to. This level bridges the gap between “can get by at work” and “can represent my team with confidence.”

Business Japanese - Advanced

Advanced Business Japanese Course

Level: JLPT N2

This course is for learners who already operate comfortably in Japanese at work and want to refine precision, nuance, and persuasive ability at a near-native level. You’ll practice high-stakes scenarios, negotiating with external partners, delivering formal presentations, and navigating sensitive internal discussions, with close attention to register, indirectness, and the subtle social cues that distinguish fluent business Japanese from merely correct Japanese. Ideal for learners targeting BJT or JLPT N2-level proficiency for visa, promotion, or leadership purposes.
