1. Down Home Restaurant

Starting off with the most affordable place, we have the Down Home Restaurant in Setagaya. For only ¥6,600 per person, you can enjoy a plate full of Thanksgiving goodness. The meal will consist of a turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet American yams, string beans, and carrots. For their dessert options, you can choose between a sweet pumpkin or pecan pie. The Thanksgiving meal will only take place on Saturday, November 29th, and there will be five seating slots available: 11:30-13:00, 13:00-14:30, 14:30-16:00, 17:00-19:00, 19:00-21:00.

2. T.Y. Harbor Shinagawa

The next place is T.Y. Harbor Shinagawa. This lovely dockside restaurant will be serving its special dinner only on November 27th. The meal starts with a creamy cauliflower puree soup with toasted almonds. The main course will roasted turkey breast with mushroom gravy, cornbread stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberry relish. For dessert, they will serve a pumpkin tart with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. 

The cost per person is ¥7,000 and reservations can be made here.

3. Smokehouse

The Smokehouse in Shibuya will be serving a more down-to-earth type of meal, starting with a warm smoky clam chowder with corn and bacon. The side dish will be a pumpkin macaroni and cheese with bacon and spiced pumpkin seeds. The main course is comprised of a BBQ turkey plate with cornbread, green beans, whipped yams, and cranberry relish. For dessert, Smokehouse will be serving a pumpkin pecan pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.

The Thanksgiving menu will only be available on November 27th, and the cost per person will ¥7,000. Reservations can be made here.

4. Ivy Place

Ivy Place in Daikanyama will be serving a delicious Thanksgiving meal beginning with a sweet potato puree soup with fried sweet potato chips. Their appetizers will be sea trout gravlax with farro, roasted beets, turnips and Brussels sprouts salad, and crushed smoked nuts. The main course will be roasted turkey with cornbread stuffing, mushroom gravy, cranberry relish, and sautéed green beans. For dessert, there will be pumpkin pie with whipped cream and tuile.

5. Bistro Vino Roppongi

The fifth restaurant on the list is Bistro Vino Roppongi. This lively place will be serving seafood salad, mushroom soup, a turkey plate with stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, butter corn, and cranberry sauce for their dinner menu. For dessert, the restaurant will be serving pannacotta with compote. 

They will be serving Thanksgiving dinner from November 24 to November 30 and the meal will be served from 5:00-11:00pm. The cost is ¥7,980 per person.

6. Trader Vic’s Tokyo

Trader Vic’s is located in the New Otani Hotel. They will be will be serving their Thanksgiving menu from November 21 to November 28 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm (last order is at 8:30 pm). The first course will be a velvety butternut squash soup with coconut and roasted pumpkin seeds. The second will be an autumn harvest salad made with seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, and cranberry dressing. The main course will be a traditional roasted turkey with potato puree, honey-glazed carrots and green beans, gravy, cranberry sauce, and chestnut dressing. Dessert will be a banoffee pie made of caramel, banana, and dark chocolate.

7. Soul Food House

Soul Food House will be having an all-out extravaganza for Thanksgiving. Their Thanksgiving menu is comprised of all the classic holiday staples, including pumpkin soup, kale salad, honey smoked turkey, cornbread stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, ribs, green bean casseroles, macaroni and cheese, cream corn casserole, and pumpkin spice ice cream. 

They will be serving Thanksgiving dinner on November 26th to November 28th at 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The cost is ¥9,000 and you can make a reservation here on their website.

8. The Oak Door

If you’re looking to splurge, the priciest restaurant on this list is The Oak Door at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. The upscale place will have a luxurious feast that includes a starter course of spiced nuts, marinated olives, salami, mortadella, pickled vegetables, grilled flatbread and persimmon. The salad course will be an autumn salad made with kale, treviso, pecans, green apples, feta cheese, and carrot-ginger dressing. The main course is comprised of a roast turkey with whipped potatoes, pork sausage and apple-chestnut stuffing, Anno sweet potatoes, turkey gravy, and cranberry jam. Sides include green beans, creamy spinach, Brussels sprouts, walnuts, and oranges. Dessert is pumpkin pie and vanilla ice cream. 

They will serve the Thanksgiving meal on November 27th at 5:30pm and 8:00pm time slots, and on the 28th and 29th from 5:30-9:30pm. The price is ¥11,000 per person for the dinner course and ¥17,000 with the wine pairing, and the minimum reservation is two people. Reservations for your table can be made here.

9. BLT Steak Roppongi

If you are looking for a formal and sophisticated Thanksgiving dinner, look no further than BLT Steak Roppongi. This elegant restaurant is located in the Izumi Garden Tower in Roppongi, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant and lively districts. Their Thanksgiving meal will be served from November 27th to the 28th and will feature elevated versions of the holiday classics. Their lunch menu includes a popover, Waldorf salad, grilled turkey breast with gravy and cranberry relish, mashed potatoes, and a cinnamon-flavored cherry pie. Their dinner course mirrors the lunch meal, with the exception of a creamy pumpkin soup in addition. 

The price for the lunch course is ¥7,500, while the price for the dinner course is ¥10,000.

10. Buvette Tokyo

Buvette is a cozy, French-inspired restaurant located in Hibiya. Despite its European influence, Buvette will be serving savory Thanksgiving meals from November 22nd to the 30th, including take-out options to enjoy at home. The meal includes a roasted chicken with stuffed rice, roasted pumpkin, cauliflower, green beans, brandade with toast, and a chef’s salad. The dessert options for the Thanksgiving meal are a chocolate mousse and a tart tatin. The meal is also capable of serving 2-3 people for both their dine-in and takeaway options.  

The Thanksgiving meal costs ¥12,420. 

Buvette is a popular restaurant, and reservations can be made via their website here for both in-person and takeout scheduling. 

11. Two Dogs Taproom 

For a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere during Thanksgiving dinner, Two Dog Taproom in Roppongi has you covered. Savor their Thanksgiving meal buffet-style in their cozy gastropub interior, with customers being able to choose from their extensive menu covering all the Thanksgiving staples you can think of and more. Included in the buffet is a traditional roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, bread rolls, cheese platters, vegetables, and pumpkin pie, to name just a few items. The Thanksgiving buffet is all-you-can-eat for 120 minutes. 

The cost for this meal is ¥8,200 for those over 12 years old, ¥3,600 yen for those aged 6-12, and free for children under 6 years of age. 

The meal will only be available on November 27th from either 6 – 8 pm or 8:30 -10:30 pm, and reservations are required, which can be booked here on their website.  

12. Lawry’s The Prime Rib

Lawry’s The Prime Rib has two locations: one in Minato and one in Ebisu. Having originated in Beverly Hills in 1938, this high-end steakhouse now has several locations in Japan and an impressive Thanksgiving course. There are multiple options to choose from on Lawry’s Thanksgiving menu. The first is a whole or half-roasted turkey, which comes with mustard gravy sauce and cranberry relish. The other choice is the Thanksgiving Set, which comes with a whole roasted turkey, two sauces, a spinning bowl salad, roasted vegetables (brussels sprouts, carrots, sweet potatoes), and a pumpkin brulee pie. 

The price for the half turkey is ¥10,000, ¥20,000 for a whole turkey, and ¥26,000 for the Thanksgiving Set.

13. Hard Rock Cafe Tokyo

The cult-famous Hard Rock Cafe chain is known for having many locations worldwide and its high-energy atmosphere adorned with rock and roll memorabilia. On November 27th, the Hard Rock Cafe in Roppongi will have a limited-time Thanksgiving menu for guests to enjoy. Their Thanksgiving dinner will include a slow-roasted turkey breast with gravy, roasted vegetables, home-style classic stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. There is also the Thanksgiving Dinner Set, which includes the previously listed items as well as a pumpkin tart. In addition to the food, Hard Rock Cafe offers a speciality Cranberry Mojito drink, which is a mixture of Havana Club rum, cranberry lime, ginger beer, and mint. 

The cost for the dinner is ¥2,980, ¥4,260 for the dinner set, and ¥1,480 for the cranberry mojito.

Take-Out Thanksgiving Meal Options

1. Kyle’s Good Finds

If you don’t have time for a sit-down lunch or dinner, Kyle’s Good Finds in Nakano will be serving to-go plates, but you’ll have to pick them up yourself, as there’s no delivery.

2. Luca Deli

Luca Deli Organic Kitchen has a wonderful holiday meal set that can easily feed 2-4 people. They started selling it on October 1 and will continue all the way until December 26. The box includes a roasted chicken or turkey, and you can opt for sides as well. The price varies depending on the size of the turkey/chicken and includes sides of chestnut and mushroom stuffing, rosemary mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green veggies, and carrot cheesy casserole, gravy sauce, cranberry sauce, green veggies with bacon and maple syrup, homemade cornbread, and pumpkin pie with Chantilly Brandy sauce.

3. Bond St. Kitchen

If you’re hosting a bigger party or want leftovers for a few days, Bond St. Kitchen might be the way to go. Their Thanksgiving package can feed up to 8 people and includes a seven-kilogram roasted turkey, 600 grams of mushroom gravy, 320 grams of cranberry relish, eight pieces of cornbread stuffing, 500 grams of sautéed green beans, and 400 grams of mashed potatoes. Boxes will be delivered between November 27 to 30. The box costs range from ¥41,500 to ¥49,000 and depending on what area of Tokyo you live in, you may have to pay a delivery fee.
