Let’s go for lunch together and explore Iidabashi-Kagurazaka district! We will advise you some of the top restaurants of the area. Discover the delicious Kyoto style of home cooking, called “obanzai” with two type of menu: steamed pork, vegetables & rice or tempura & cold soba.

Did you know that there are various different ways to make sushi?
In this event, we will create an oshi-zushi design that is a real eye-pleaser. Once you’ve learned how to make it, it is easy to make this dish at home too. We can create interesting designs based on your ideas! We look forward to seeing you at this event.

 Japanese Calligraphy Class

Tuesday, December 15th 12:40-13:55 in Coto Language Academy

Have you ever tried Japanese calligraphy?

Wakana Shingae, a professional shodo artist will join us to teach a special Japanese calligraphy class. The class will consist of a basic introduction to Japanese calligraphy and practice writing three seasonal Kanji characters. Then, you can write one of the Kanji characters using a special calligraphy board and take it home as a souvenir!

Disaster & Earthquake Prevention Center
防災館ツアー

What should you do in case of an earthquake? How can you protect yourself during a flood? What should you do in case of a fire? Get yourself ready to face all type of disasters with us on our tour of the Disaster Prevention Center. Afterwards, we will all go to Ryogoku to eat “chanko-nabe”, a Japanese traditional stew.
