If you like donburi, you will certainly be fond of hitsumabushi. Hitsumabushi is a kind of donburi with 3 ways to taste it! You can enjoy the rice and the meat as it is, try your dish with various toppings and finally, add a lightly seasoned soup and eat all together! Let’s go for lunch together and explore Iidabashi-Kagurazaka district! We will advise you some of the top restaurants of the area.

Have you ever tried Japanese calligraphy?
This month, we will hold a Japanese calligraphy class with Wakana Shingae, a professional shodo artist! After an introduction to Japanese calligraphy, you will practice writing 3 seasonal Kanji characters. Finally, using a special calligraphy board, you will write your favorite character and take it home as a souvenir!

Monjayaki Night! in Tsukishima, Tokyo
もんじゃ焼きナイト 東京 月島

Have you heard about monjayaki? It is the kantô way of preparing okonomiyaki, a kind of runny pancake with different ingredients, such as seafood, meat and vegetables, mixed into the batter and cooked on an ironpan. What is awesome with this dish is that you prepare yourself as you like!
Tsukishima – litteraly the “moon island”, is a special part of Tokyo shitamachi wellknown for this unique speciality, as you can find no less than 70 monja yaki restaurants in its popular Nishinaka Street.
Let’s have a fun night together and discover how to prepare monjayaki!
