We are offering a chance for Coto students and their friends to experience Japanese Kabuki theater. This is a great opportunity for a unique cultural experience.

Did you know that there are various different ways to make sushi?
For this month’s cooking class, we are making Kazanorimaki! Norimaki is one of the many types of sushi, you would be making norimaki with cute flower designs! You can also do this at home once you’ve learnt how! Challenge yourself and learn to make Kazanorimaki!

Japanese Calligraphy Class

Have you ever tried Japanese calligraphy?
Wakana Shingae, a professional shodo artist will join us to teach a special Japanese calligraphy class. The class will consist of a basic introduction to Japanese calligraphy and practice writing three seasonal Kanji characters. Then, you can write one of the Kanji characters using a special calligraphy board and take it home as a souvenir!
