“ILS made my Japanese learning experience extremely enjoyable!”
Tanmayee/ India / Elementary
Life in Tokyo is amazing and with a little extra effort on your japanese language skills it becomes even more interesting. I am delighted to have found Coto Japanese Academy (formerly ILS, Coto Language Academy). Thanks to the teachers of Coto Japanese Academy (formerly ILS, Coto Language Academy), my Japanese learning experience has become extremely enjoyable!
When I joined Coto Japanese Academy (formerly ILS, Coto Language Academy), being a beginner, I was not sure which course to take up. Sensei Sakurai helped me from zero in on Nihongo plus.
The friendly atmosphere, the small classes of about 6 students and the informality of teachers make the learning process enjoyable. The lessons are conversation focused and it’s exciting when the phrases you study in class can be readily used in daily life.
For me the sessions have always been engaging. Nihongo plus has helped me acquaint myself with Japanese. The best part is the classes schedule is flexible so I can choose the time best suited for me.
The staff is professional yet really kind and always ready to help. Once they even helped me pick up an appropriate japanese style wedding gift envelope for one of my Japanese friends’ wedding. That was really sweet!
Coto Academy (formerly ILS) also conducts other activities (specific to the Japanese culture) from time to time for its students like Sakura hanami party, tea ceremony, calligraphy, etc. One of my favorites is the calligraphy sessions.
I have taken up Nihongo plus-basic grammar and Speak at N4 as of now so as to build upon the foundation and increase vocabulary. The encouraging and supportive staff inspires me to do better day after day. Thanks Coto Japanese Academy (formerly ILS, Coto Language Academy)!
