Imperial Palace East Garden Tour: Transport yourself back in time 250 years when Tokyo was known as Edo. Explore the former site of Edo castle with a guide who can share the mindset and history of samurai culture.

Brief Background on the Castle

皇居東外苑=江戸城ツアー
Imperial Palace East Garden can often be referred to as the Edo Castle. This time, we will be hosting a tour over by that area!
現在、皇居がある場所は、かつては江戸城と呼ばれ、徳川将軍家の居城でした。約260年間、武士(侍)政権の中心として君臨した”江戸城”をイメージしながら皇居東御苑をExploreしませんか?江戸城について詳しい経験豊富なガイドが案内します。侍、忍者、腹切り(切腹)についても勉強になります!
In this day and age where the imperial palace is located, it was once called the “Edo Castle”. This was where the Tokugawa Shogunate once resided. About 260 years ago, this Castle was the center of the Bushi Samurai Administration, having been under their reign. With that being said, why not take the chance to experience all of this at the same time whilst exploring the Imperial Palace East Garden! With an experienced guide, he would definitely be able to give you some deeper insights on the History of the Edo Castle. From Samurais, Ninjas to even Ritual Suicides (Harakiri/Seppuku), there’s just so much for you to learn when you join in on this event so don’t miss out!
