I have studied at a number of Japanese language schools before and in my opinion, Coto Japanese Academy, formerly ILS, is by far the best.

What attracted me at first was its flexibility in terms of teachers’ attitude and timetable. This flexibility means that taking Japanese lessons at Coto Japanese Academy (formerly ILS) is easily compatible with working life and other commitments you could have. A flexibility that is a rare find amongst language schools in Tokyo !

The teachers are extremely kind and professionals. The lessons, Nihongo Plus and private lessons are relevant and enjoyable, with a focus on conversation that makes living in Tokyo a little easier as time goes by. I feel more at ease to communicate in Japanese in my daily life thanks to Coto Japanese Academy!
