At Coto Academy, we’re committed to providing high-quality Japanese lessons at the most affordable cost possible. We’ve grown so much since our one-room volunteer class in 2000. And we can’t get to where we are without the support of our students, amazing staff and dedicated teachers.
Along the way, we had to consider the market condition and, most of all, the complexity of finding the right Japanese language teachers for the volume of students we’re managing at the moment.
From January 2023, we’ll be introducing a new pricing plan for our Japanese intensive courses. We want to provide you with more flexible class schedules, and changing our prices will let us hire new instructors and give students the lessons they need the most. These adjustments are necessary to improve our class quality — and scale up our team.
This was a difficult decision to make, but with this update, we can finally provide you with more lesson availabilities. It also helps us ensure our mission to give the best Japanese language course.

- 1 week: 40,000 JPY
- 4 weeks: 136,000 JPY
- 12 weeks: 360,000 JPY
- 24 weeks: 648,000 JPY
