Short-term Intensive Japanese Language Course
If you are only visiting Tokyo for a few months – it may be hard to find a language school to study Japanese with due to rigid start and finish dates.
At Coto – you do not need a student visa to study japanese with us on a short-term basis – and we can accomodate a start date that fits your schedule.
Q: “I want a six week language course that is Monday to Friday for 3 hours per day – most schools only offer courses in 3 month terms – Can I study with you?”
A: At Coto you can enroll in our intensive courses by the week. This means that if you would like to study with us for 2-3-4-5-6, etc weeks – you can create a plan that matches your schedule.
That being said – the longer you study with us, the more discounted the unit rate is per class. So we suggest that you pick a course that is the longest you are able.

Part-time Japanese Language Courses that Enroll Any Time
If you would like irregular lessons instead of a Monday through Friday schedule and will be in Japan for a limited time – we recommend that you check out our part-time lessons.
You can take lessons that are based on your schedule as well as activity focused – such as improving your ability to express yourself in Japanese or preparing for the JLPT.
Along with our intensive courses – our part-time courses enable you to take a free level check and interview so that we can determine your level and suggest a course that is suitable for your ability.
