From Tokyo, over 15 years of experience as a Japanese teacher. Was inspired to become a Japanese language teacher after meeting one in New Zealand. 
Has broad experience teaching: students at summer programs; international students at Japanese schools; lessons geared towards businesspersons; JLPT prep courses; beginner to advanced level Japanese courses.
Hobbies include: surfing, running, ukulele, and recently started training at a boxing Gym.

I want my Japanese classes to help students feel the sensation of “I want to speak Japanese!” more strongly!  I make an effort to teach students practical phrases they can use regularly - so that they think to themselves: “This is fun! I want to keep studying!” 
I want to help students realize their dreams of making their lives brighter by speaking Japanese, and support them in making their lives more full and exciting!
