Yumi Hashimoto

Majored in Japanese literature in University, became a Japanese teacher after working for a foreign affiliated company. With over 10 years of teaching experience, including overseas, comfortable teaching from beginner levels up to advanced. Experience studying abroad (Australia, Italy, Germany, United States, the UK) as well as experience translating Japanese/French; altogether have visited over 50 countries. Due to having a love for languages, learned English, French, German, Italian, and Chinese.

I aim to meet each individual student's learning needs, make learning Japanese fun, and help them experience the feeling of being able to express themselves in a foreign language. I personally have learned various foreign languages, experienced many different cultures living abroad. I have experienced language barriers, cultural differences, lifestyles adjustments, and the like. In order to provide my students with tools to help them express themselves - as well as learning about a different culture - I take language study very seriously. I want to support my students to help them learn Japanese while having fun in the process. I can also correspond in English.
