From childhood - she wanted to help others learn the Japanese language. She was interested in the field of Japanese language education and in university she majored in the field of Second Language acquisition. She performed research and authored papers on second language acquisition.
In 2005, she started working as a Japanese language teacher - and was a professor of Japanese language at various language schools and summer courses for international students around Japan.
She worked as a part-time instructor of Iidabashi language school (the predecessor of Coto) since 2005, where she became an administration staff.
She is a co-author of the 新完全マスター日本語 (New Perfect Master Nihongo) N1 and N2 Vocabulary Series
