Kazumi Kawaguchi

Born and raised in Osaka - she majored in medieval Japanese literature in university.  After graduating, she was in charge of sales, product planning, copyrighting and PR at a dairy manufacturer.  20 years ago she went to Tokyo and started teaching Japanese at a Language exchange.

She gained experience as a Japanese teacher in 4 different schools. Her hobbies include squash, painting (Ukiyoe), travel, fishing - watching American TV dramas, comedy, and eating as much delicious food as she can.

 

"I know that Japanese grammar can be difficult to understand.  But I really believe that it is my duty as a Japanese teacher to make sure my students can understand how to use Japanese grammar as it will go a long way in allowing them to use the language.

I also want to help share about Japan with my students and help them to understand the Japanese culture."
