Dreaming of Modern Living – The Industrial Arts Institutes Archive

The Industrial Arts Institute’s collection of trial products and reference products will be on exhibition this Monday. Take a look at design prototypes created during Japan’s post-war era and the ideas that inspired their design. It’s a great chance to see how industrialization quickly shaped the modern aesthetic of Japan today.

Spring Rose Festival

Each year Jindai Botanical Gardens invites visitors to enjoy the beauty of Japan’s changing seasons. The rose gardens are a definite highlight during May. Feel free to also explore the on-site greenhouse and nearby Japanese gardens in the neighborhood.
