Emiko Shimizu studied agriculture in high school and environmental design at college. After graduating, she worked at a flower shop and travled to Britain because she liked English gardens. Last year, she debuted as a Japanese teacher in Australia and has since continued her teaching here in Japan.
I want to share the joy of communicating, of understanding what someone is saying, of getting an idea across, which I felt when I was attending foreign language school. By learning a language, you understand even more people’s opinions and ideas, and can also spread and communicate your own ideas. I think this is a wonderful thing!!
